2. Real-time transportation visibility (RTTV)

Real-time transportation visibility (RTTV) software tracks transportation data across the supply chain, often integrating this information with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. These programmes offer an alternative to traditional SCF programmes, which have grown in popularity but are often inefficient and inaccessible to smaller suppliers. Early payment programmes have several benefits, helping food and beverage manufacturers:

  • Strengthen the supply chain by improving supplier cash flow
  • Access risk-free cash returns
  • Improve core metrics such as EBITDA
  • Increase supplier adoption and usage when compared to bank-led SCF programmes
